I was raised in Los Angeles. I graduated from the University of Alexandria, Shatby, Alexandria , Egypt in 2005. I trained in Glendale Adventist Family Medicine Residency and Loma Linda University Addiction Medicine Fellowship, and I was awarded the Medical Education & Research Foundation for Treatment of Addiction Scholarship and was under the tutelage of Dr. Steven Eickelberg, the Ruth Fox Award Recipient. I am board certified in addiction medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, American Board of Addiction Medicine, American Board of Preventive Medicine, and International Society of Addiction Medicine. I have worked in the Betty Ford Center and Michael’s House. I am a proud member of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and worked as core faculty in the Eisenhower Medical Center Family Medicine Residency. I presented in the International Congress of Dual Diagnoses in 2019 and was named as one of the top doctors in the Coachella Valley in 2020 by Palm Springs Life magazine.
