Dr. Muhammad Yousef is a highly skilled pediatric anesthesiologist and associate clinical investigator at the Department of Perioperative Medicine.
He was awarded 2016 Director’s Award for taking a leadership role in establishing a new off-site anesthesia area in Intermediate Monitored Care section and developing the new multi-department program to improve the delivery of patient care and increased Operating Room efficiency.
He established the Pediatric Anesthesia Services Guidelines for the NIH Clinical Center’s Pediatrics Department.
He also created Pre-Anesthesia Pre-Operative Guidelines for the surgical and non-surgical branches at the NIH Clinical Center.
