With over 16 years of experience, Dr. Nourhan Mekawy is a compassionate dentist serving patients at Island Smile Dental Group in Levittown, New York.
Since establishing Island Smile Dental Group in 2011, Dr. Mekawy brings her expertise and commitment to patient-centered care to improve her patients’ oral health goals.Dr. Mekawy earned her undergraduate degree at Alexandria University in Egypt.
She completed an advanced dental residency program at New York University (NYU) in New York City, which focused on mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, before finishing her dental degree from the NYU College of Dentistry.Dr. Mekawy’s areas of interest include cosmetic and implant dentistry.
Her advanced training includes a certification in implants through the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Mekawy is affiliated with the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
To better serve her patients, Dr. Mekawy is fluent in English and Arabic.In her spare time, Dr. Mekawy enjoys cooking, gardening, and embroidery.
