Dr. Moumen Almouzayn proudly serves our community with great skill and compassion, bringing with him many years of experience. Dr. Almouzayn earned his DMD from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, a top rated dental university.
He continued his training and refined his skills where he completed a residency training in Advanced Education of General Dentistry at UCONN.
Dr. Almouzayn is also a graduate from New York University, where he studied at the School of Dental Surgery, receiving advanced training in both surgical and prosthetic dental implants.
This includes over 300 hours of continuing education on implant surgery, bone augmentation techniques, and implant restorative treatment planning with the world renowned Dr. Dennis Tarnow. Dr. Almouzayn is also a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI).
Dr. Almouzayn is an active member in the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, Connecticut State Dental Association, Shoreline Dental Association, New Haven Dental Association and the River Valley Study Club.
Dr. Almouzayn stays committed to his continuing education courses in general dentistry along with cosmetics, including hands on courses in implant dentistry, periodontal surgery, Lumineers®, and veneers.
He received his certification of achievement in completing the training in advanced laser periodontics and oral surgery.
He believes continuing education is an important part of what you do as a dentist.

Dr. Almouzayn lives in Madison, CT with his wife Suzanne and their daughter Sophia.
He enjoys traveling, cooking, arts, and soccer.
