Adela’s practice focuses on representing domestic and foreign institutional investors, including public and private pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, and family offices in connection with primary, secondary, and co-investments in onshore and offshore private equity funds, including venture funds, buy-out funds, credit funds, real estate funds, and hedge funds.
During the investment process, she assists clients with analyzing and negotiating the fund’s governing documents and drafting side letters with bespoke terms. Adela obtained her J.D.
degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 2014 and her M.A.
degree in Human Rights from Columbia University in 2009.
She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a B.A.
in Political Science, summa cum laude.
Adela is fluent Romanian and Arabic.
