Islamic Foundation was formed in 1974, as a non-profit organization under the laws of the State of Illinois, to serve the Muslim communities in the western suburbs of Chicago.
The objective was to establish and maintain facilities for the practice of Islam, for educational and social activities in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah, and also to present Islam to people of other faiths.
