I'm originally from Karachi, Pakistan, and I am proud to be a Pakistani American.
I came to the U.S.
in 1990 and did my residency in internal medicine at USC and my fellowship in oncology/hermatology at Harbor UCLA.
After completing my fellowship, I was in private practice, and then joined Kaiser Permanente in 2004.
I am happily married to a woman who is Polish.
We don't have any children.
We celebrate Pakistani, Polish and American holidays with family and friends, which we believe will help us maintain the traditions and pass them on to the younger generation.
