Dr. Raza is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist serving as medical officer in the Psychiatry Consultation Liaison Service in the Office of the Clinical Director in the National Institute of Mental Health Intramural Research Program at the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Raza serves as Associate Director of the Psychiatry Consultation Liaison Service in the Hatfield Clinical Research Center.
Dr. Raza previously was the Medical Director of the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at Children’s National Health System from 2010 to 2018 and focused her clinical work on treatment of comorbid psychiatric disorders in children, adolescents and young adults with developmental disabilities and complex medical conditions.
She was also involved in teaching medical students, residents and fellows.
Dr. Raza completed three years of general psychiatry residency training at Georgetown University.
She subsequently did her 4th year of psychiatry residency, focusing on psychosomatic medicine, in the OCD at NIMH.
She next pursued Psychosomatic Medicine fellowship training in a joint program with Georgetown University and NIMH.
Dr. Raza did a second fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Children’s National.
She is board certified in General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine.
