Dr. Rafla is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1990 and Certificate of Specialty training in 1993. With 30 years of clinical experience and over 30,000 surgical dental implant placements, Dr. Akram Rafla has stayed up to date with the field’s greatest innovations and technology. On top of his own continuing education, Dr. Rafla lectured as a Diplomat of the International College of Oral Implantologists and has taught at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and other training courses.
Dr. Rafla was the chair for the Worcester District Dental Society and it’s Peer review Committee, member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association and Academy of Osseointegration.
