In August 2004, Camille Bsaibes from Zahle region in Lebanon known for having the best maza,or small plates of food, bought the Hillcrest restaurant from the original owner,who retained a restaurant with the same name in Clairmont.
Camille kept the Middle Eastern decor and hired his parents-in-law-as cooks.His wife Eva an excellent cook whom comes from the same area in Lebanon joined the team .
The whole family introduced the most authentic Lebanese food to San Diego.
