Ziad Tayeh has lived in the Cleveland area most of his life. He maintains strong ties to his Northeast Ohio community, which he has dedicated himself to serving.

After graduating high school, Ziad served his country as a soldier in the US Army, where he participated in several important missions, including Operation Noble Eagle and Hurricane Katrina Relief Assistance. A highly decorated soldier, he earned the Air Force Achievement Medal and Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman Dennis Kucinich for outstanding service.

Ziad earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in Middle Eastern studies at Cleveland State University, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2007. He then attended law school at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 2011.

After graduating from law school, he practiced at Baker Hostetler, where he represented the Securities Investment Protection Corporation (SIPC), helping recover over $10 billion of investment money lost in the Bernard Madoff ponzi scheme.

Ziad established his own practice in 2012, which he continues to operate to this day. He practices in the areas of civil litigation, business, personal injury, and estate planning. Ziad was selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star by Thomson Reuters in 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Ziad currently resides in North Royalton, Ohio with his wife and child. He often performs pro-bono work for various nonprofit organizations and serves as the President-Elect of the Islamic Center of Cleveland. He also regularly speaks at conferences and training sessions on topics related to corporate compliance, estate planning, and civil rights.
