The Bakersfield Baptist Arabic Church – valley Baptist

Valley Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.  Valley Baptist, as a church, remains autonomous from the convention.  Each church directs its affairs apart from outside intervention, deciding for itself how to deal with all matters.  The Convention recognizes that in the New Testament there was no centralized ecclesiastical authority over the churches that forced the churches into any form of compliance. There was encouragement, exhortation, and admonition, but there was never enforcement.
 
Membership at Valley Baptist Church is a matter of receiving Jesus as your Savior and Lord, and experiencing believer's baptism by immersion. You become a Southern Baptist by uniting with a Southern Baptist church, one in friendly cooperation with the general Southern Baptist enterprise of reaching the world for Christ.
