I first came here years ago when it was in a much smaller space. I enjoyed it then, but I was impressed to see how much it’s expanded. The store is over twice as large, and the kitchen is huge. The food is really great! The bowls are substantial and you have a lot of options for add-ons and sauces. The falafel is also very tasty too. Everything is fresh and the meat is juicy. They have a Stubborn craft soda fountain, which is cool—you don’t see Stubborn so frequently. The inside has high ceilings and an open floor, giving diners a sense of spaciousness. Staff is friendly too. It’s certainly worth trying out. No complaints—only praise!

Wow. I am in love! This food is incredible! The flavors were just amazing and somehow very strong without overpowering each other. I always love pickled vegetables in my food but sometimes it takes over and that’s all you taste. But here you could taste each flavor of each item and enjoy every one! The menu is simple and easy to understand, but the possibilities are endless. You choose your base; either pita, rice or salad. And then a protein, sauces, and additions like veggies or cheese. I went with the pita which was to die for! It’s made fresh right on site and was so fluffy and delicious. And then I got it stuffed with chicken, onions, parsley mix, pickled cucumbers, pickled turnips, garlic sauce and spicy tahini sauce. My mouth is watering again just thinking about how delicious it was ;)My mom loved her creation too and we already started planning our next visit! The place is so cute and the workers were all so sweet and helpful. Our food was made in record time too! And the prices were so good, especially considering how fresh the ingredients were. The owners are sweethearts and really care about their place and the customers which makes the whole experience even better. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy my next amazing meal!

I was not prepared for this level of deliciousness! I am just blown away by how much I love it. I have been back a bunch of times and am constantly thinking about the food. I am a huge sauce person, and these SAUCES are just so outstanding. The food is so full of FLAVOR and so fresh! Every single thing that goes into it is full of Heart and Soul that you don't see everyday. I am so busy swooning and saying "oh wow" every bite that I can hardly eat. Now, some people might not feel the same depth of experience. I do know it is at least worth a try, and worth driving out of your way too. The Pita or Bowl + Steak, Parsley Mix, Kalamata Olives, Toasted Almonds, Cilantro Tahini and Garlic Sauce is pure bliss! I also learned that I love Pickled Turnips! Who knew they could taste so delicious. My new favorite is a bowl with rice, pickled turnips, pickles, parsley mix, onions, Sriracha Tahini and Garlic Sauce. I also just tried the same bowl but with Steak and it's literally one of the best things I have ever eaten! So much flavor! I was doing the Happy Dance with every bite. As much as I love the pita, I am liking how the flavors come out stronger in the rice bowl. It is all such bliss. Another new favorite...Fries on the pita! Yum! I had: steak, onions, pickles, fries, garlic sauce and Cilantro Tahini. I swooned over every bite. My daughter loved The Esquire with added pepperoncini and onion. The meat has been so tender and full of flavor. The Toasted almonds are delicious and a really special touch. I like getting two sauces or extra sauce. Sauce person, remember? Sigh. The Cilantro Tahini is something I would like to put on everything. The bread is coming out of the oven right in front of you and smells incredible. Their SAMBUSAS are wonderful. The beef is my favorite but they are both so good. I loved the Cilantro Tahini Sauce with it. I think the Sriracha would be good with the chicken. The lemonades are delicious and so is the Baklava. Both the Walnut and the Pistachio Baklava are fantastic, and the best Baklava I have tasted. It was so light and less sugary sweet, so the other flavors come out. The owners, and staff, make us feel so welcomed and appreciated. Add to that the feast for your senses and it's at the top of my 'must try' list for anyone who remotely likes this type of food; and definitely on my list of favorites. I always leave wondering when I get to eat it again! The owners are fantastic! Thank goodness they followed their dream. My life is better for it. Thank you all for the delicious meal. You are all making the world a better place.

It is an amazing gem of a place in San Diego, where Middle Eastern food is served but with attention to detail. The parking is free, nice and spacious well thought restaurant. The menubis is very simple and easy. I had the chicken Shoarma with garlic sauce, in a fresh pita bread, with fries. MUST TRY! I tried the Subborn soda. It was really good. The place was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful.

High Quality Ingredients and High Quality Service. I have been searching all over San Diego for quality Shawarma. The atmosphere is clean and classy. The manager Ethan went above and beyond to make sure my dietary restrictions were met. Excellent service and staff. This will be my go to spot!
