My hunger was certainly satisfied having lunch here. The sirloin kabob (koobideh) is extremely soft, dissolves in the mouth. This must be quite unique recipe. It was certainly good and flavorful, but was a surprise. The chicken kabob (white meat) was super good, not dry at all and full of flavor. Staff very friendly and attentive.

We had the takeout special #1 from the menu; it had three koobideh skewers and 3 white chicken skewers and a small bowl of Gheymeh stew which was perfect and tasty. The side salad was not great. The koobideh (ground sirloin skewer) was the best part of the dish It was a 6-star Koobideh out of 5! The Chicken ones were very dry and did not have the taste or flavor of Zaffron at all. The rice and Tahdig were 5 stars out of 5! Gheymeh stew was super delicious and flavorful; highly recommend it! The service was fast it only took them 20 minutes to have our order ready. The only downside is that dry Joojeh skewer( chicken skewer) but overall this place is highly recommended.

The ground sirloin was super tender and flavorful. Loved it. I had white meat chicken, and it was succulent and well spiced. Not the biggest fan of the hummus, but let’s not quibble. Service was friendly and helpful. 5-star all the way.

Delicious food, but…(and this may be because I’m from Texas where everything is bigger) … but the size of a single skewer of Koobideh for around $20 was questionable at best. Granted, it’s LA and things are just more expensive these days, but Shrinkflation Kabab isn’t quite in line with the Iranian culture of true hospitality IMO. Make the skewers thicker and charge more if you have to! The flavor is great! It’s juicy! Give us more! We will pay more for it! That said, a single skewer of top quality Koobideh meal in Houston is around $16 and it would run circles around any kabab in California. That does make me biased because Houston has the best Persian food in the western hemisphere, but that doesn’t mean any Koobideh should be that small. 4 hours later and it feels like we didn’t have lunch despite spending $50 on two skewers of Koobideh. Good service, good atmosphere, but the food quality needs to be stepped up to be competitive and worthy of high commendation, especially for someone visiting from Houston. So far, Houston 1 - 0 LA

When it comes to kabob this my first choice in town. The minute you arrive you are greeted with a nice welcome. After being seated your drink order is taken. Within in couple minutes our server comes over to see if you have any questions on the menu. If you are a meat lover you are in for a real treat. No matter what you order you won’t go wrong.
