We found this delicious place by accident. Highly recommended. Short story, we were visiting the Mission Inn Christmas lights festival park, and we were looking for a place to have a date dinner night. We found a couple Italian places nearby, however, I was not impressed by the menus, nor prices for the quantity of food. We start looking for places a bit further and out of the area; we found Rumi's Restaurant. It's absolutely worth the drive. The food was amazing and absolutely fresh. The flavors were balanced and they complement each other. We got the small hen with bones and it comes with a side of your choice of rice and some chard veggies. We ordered the yellow rice with dates and herbs. The prices were reasonable and were just happy with about everything we ordered. Our server was polite and friendly. Also, they still do the welcoming butter and bread tradition which I was very happy to see. The bread was warm and yummy. For drinks we got the mint yogurt drink (Ayran) and it was really tasty. The atmosphere was quiet. It's family and friends friendly to have celebratory dinner or take your love one for a nice dinner night. When we visit SoCal again, we absolutely will visit again!

Food seasoned incorrectly, meat had an akward smell rice overcooked. The Gormeh Sabzi was ok the tadiegh was not traditionally prepared and wasn't very good, service was friendly atmosphere was fine, sadly was disappointed in our visit. Considering we came for food the rating was justified.

The worst Persian food I have ever had! I ordered tahdig (Persian rice) with Gheymeh stew and a skewer of chicken kabob through doordash! Just look at the tahdig! It's supposed to be golden crispy instead it was undercooked, chewy and smelled like rancid oil.... disgusting! The gheymeh stew tasted like canned tomato soup with undercooked split peas no flavor no quality. The ground chicken kabob was not good and I had chewy chicken pieces in my mouth...once again, disgusting! Never again!

First time here- my daughter's friend wanted to introduce us to foods she enjoys. We'd never had Persian food but we will now. It's sooooo good. 🤤 get the chicken koobideh- it'll change your life.
