The primary product for Petra is authentic middle eastern entries such as Shish Kebab, Chicken Kebab, Chicken Shaerma , Beef Shaerma , Kabasa ( seasoned rice with vegetables with Lamp or Chicken) Salads. Mansaf ( traditional Jordanian dish which is slow cooked lamb with seasoned dry yogurt served over rice and almonds Falafel, Hummus, Tabbouleh, Baba ( eggplant salad) chicken, beef, Zatter and cheese pies. Kebba and much more homemade dishes..

Established in 2015.
Arwa Kamal who is the main Petra’s chief cooks with love.. Whatever she used to cook home , she just now cooks to the public on larger scale. Petra is a Middle Eastern authentic Cuisine Restaurant which is considered as a new business venture in the Bay Area .Arwa was a catering for family and friends simply because she loves and enjoy cooking. The need for a neighborhood Middle Eastern restaurant was identified in this location at La Positas Rd. After further research in the Bay Area a decision was made to pursue this venture.

2 months agoPost hike lunchie at one of my Livermore faves. I’ve eaten here many times and recommended it to my hiking group. They were very happy with their meals. Food is always delicious and the service always excellent. Their hummus is amazing! Yummmm.

a month agoFriendly service. Accurate estimated time for ordering takeout. Easy parking. Food was packaged well. Baba ghanoush was good and smoky. Kufta was my favorite of the meat dishes. I enjoyed the falafel and thought it held good crisp for takeout.

10 months agoOur first time here, and we were so glad we came here for lunch. The lady who served us was very helpful and explained the details on the dishes we ordered. The food was excellent, from the authentic tabbouleh that was so fresh to the chicken kebab that was so tender and juicy. It was like eating at home. Will definitely come here again.

11 months agoWe are extremely delighted with the food and service we received here. We had ordered Falafel, Baba Ghanouj as starters and Chicken Kebab and Chicken Shawarma plates for 3 of us. They served some freshly baked pitas with olive oil as complementary. All the dishes were very fresh and served hot. We were blown away by the authentic tastes. I think it's a family run business. The owner was courteous and took good care of us. We enjoyed an outside meal wholeheartedly after a long time! Thank you Petra Middle Eastern Cuisine for the lovely lunch.

8 months agoThis place is awesome - super chill and homey vibe, nice owners and staff, and the food is delicious. It’s healthy, clean, and super affordable, especially compared to the other restaurants in the area. This is one of our go-to’s when we don’t want to cook but also want something that feels healthy and doesn’t weigh us down. Highly recommend for a chill dinner or lunch!
