Peachy’s Market & Grill

I just went to Peachy Grill in Encinitas. I hope I don’t get sick. Last time it was so good. This time the meat was pretty uncooked. I think the owner got mad when I made the order and asked not to put oil in my rice, and that his rice was greasy sometimes. Vindictive are some Iranian men, he is one of them! So my Kabob was pretty much raw. I called and he said ( the rude owner ) send me pictures. I actually have a few pieces saved for my Persian cat. And one of the skewers was more cooked. I ate around it. I think because the meat/ Kabob was more raw, my Persian cat loved it. The owner was short with me, took forever to pick up, and he without saying sorry or any apology, hung up. My friends and I went this past Sunday to eat there, they were closed but, I am pretty sure her and her husband will try to go back, so I will send them this message to see before they waste their money with a rude stuck up ungrateful Iranian man business owner. This owner is a jerk it seems! 👎 He himself is the reason more than likely that my kabob had ZERO GRILL MARKS, The one skewer was almost like eating the raw, very very underdone meat. Please don’t support him. He must think that he is in Tehran. I was referred to this junk Persian restaurant by my nice gym friend Rebecca.

Absolutely delicious food. You won’t be disappointed no matter which food you order. I used to drive all the way to Orange County for Persian food and grocery but ever since I discovered this place, no more driving to there. I’m glad I discovered it. Clean and great service too.

Best kept secret in Encinitas. Great little store and restaurant with extensive selection of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern spices and food. Staff was very helpful. Highly recommend. Be warned that parking is an adventure in that shopping center.

Great food, authentic flavors at this market/deli. Mediterranean and Persian foods on the shelves. Mediterranean food (kabob, shawarma, etc) is available at the counter. There is some al fresco seating on the side of the building. They also cater.

We all love Peachy’s!! We’re there at least once a week for our groceries or delicious meals. The catering is phenomenal as well. Amir is done such an amazing job and brings a little bit of Persia to Encinitas.
