With her LL.M. in Employee Benefits and her M&A experience, Myriem provides day-to-day and comprehensive benefits plan support through innovative and practical ways to address clients’ complex compensation and benefits concerns.

Myriem advises clients on matters related to designing and maintaining qualified retirement plans and health and welfare plans. Myriem’s experience includes helping business owners consider and implement ESOPs as a business succession and employee incentive strategies and guiding them through the unique day-to-day issues facing employee-owned businesses and ESOPs. Myriem also advises plan sponsors on ERISA compliance matters and best practices for plan governance.

Myriem has experience with the design and implementation of cash, equity and equity-based incentive compensation plans and agreements, including change in control, retention and other transaction-related bonus arrangements. She draws upon her experience handling all aspects of healthcare business transactions and routinely counsels clients on a variety of compensation and benefits issues arising in mergers, acquisitions and other corporate restructurings, including plan conversions, spin-offs and terminations. Clients appreciate her knowledge of the unique legal nuances involved where benefits and business law intersect in the highly regulated healthcare industry.
