The first time I went to see Dr. Mobasser for a physical I didn’t even see her. They had a doctors assistant do the visit and did not even notify me of this either before or during the appointment which was very confusing. To this day I still have not even seen Dr. Mobasser for any visits. Since then every time I call the office it’s long wait times on hold. One time waited 20 minutes and hung up because no one was helping me. When someone does answer the phone they are rude and uncaring. I have been trying to get help with a referral for a gynecologist. Anytime you ask them for any help they tell you, you have to make a doctors appointment and can speak to her over the phone which is convenient but they charge you the copay each time. Just to get simple questions answered they will charge you the copay. Have not had a good experience with this doctor or office and am looking for another provider. The office itself is also not that nice, old, outdated, and does not feel clean.

About May 2022, I contacted the clinic about a mole removal. I sent them my insurance ahead of time and they said it doesnt cover so I paid in full (500 usd). A couple weeks later, my insurance shows the service as an in network charge. I contact the clinic for a refund of about 230 or so, and they inform me that it's in the mail. It never arrives so I call back. Again they assure me it should arrive in a couple days. This happens 3 times. The front desk starts sending ne to a dead number when I call back to check up. Virginia, the finance person, is not responding.worst support staff.

The staff and Dr. Mobasser are really great. Everyone is so helpful (including the front office staff) as well as the nurses and doctor. I can tell Dr. Mobasser really cares about her patients, provides great medical care and advice, and has a genuine interest in helping her patients. Definitely recommend, especially if you live in the downtown LA area. It's very difficult to find a good doctor with a nice office here. I was so happy and relieved to find Dr. Mobasser's office.

First, it was nice to get in quickly to get a TB shot last minute (as per new teaching organization required for new hires). Even with last minute notice the understanding Doctor and staff worked to accommodate me for the special situation. As usual I was greeted by the warm and friendly medical assistant Mary who I have never witnessed in any other mood besides welcoming. This is one of the main reasons, along with Doctor (Mobasser) who makes it seem that she desires also to have a personable relationship with her patients (rather than strictly professional), that I have found myself coming back time and time again to this office. Yet I want to stress that it is people such as Mary who deal with me so comfortably (always knowing my name and other information about me) that are huge assets to any employer. Although other office staff have been courteous it is Mary that sticks out because it is apparent to myself that she goes beyond her normal duties. Well, I did not see Dr. Mobasser today (and I do actually look forward to seeing her) but I did see Mary for she was the one who gave me my TB shot and put me in this good mood. So I thought I would put this in a review before I got too busy and forgot about it. Thank you Dr. Mobasser, Mary and the rest of the office staff.

Dr. Mobasser, her physician assistant, and staff offer excellent and thoughtful care. I selected her from my health insurance plan as she is not only an authorized primary care physician but also has a subspecialty in dermatology. She personally follows-up and asks all the right questions to treat a patient. Well worth the drive from Pasadena to receive such wonderful care.
