I truly have to say the other day My Son and I went into the store just to get one thing we had a nice incredible conversation with one of the store owners. She was so nice to us and just so genuine to where My Son even said he loves her after he left. I laughed and he said mom can we go back again I told him yes the service there is awesome, I will give her 100 stars if I could. Thank you for being so kind ☺️
Great place and great products with a good customer service, very friendly and great affordable prices for the good quality and verity of Mediterranean sweets and savory treats. good location with lots of verity of mixed nuts and sweets, and more of the traditional home gifts. Stop by if ever in the area and you will be happy.
This place is a gem! This is one of those times I wish there were more than 5 STARS I could give. I am just so happy to have found this shop. The staff that work here are always so friendly, kind and helpful. Some of the products they have are new to me and they are always so helpful in describing and recommending new items. I'm a huge pistachio fan and they have a lovely variety to choose from. If you like nuts this is the place! I don't think I will ever buy nuts at the grocery store again and why would I when you can get FRESHLY roasted ones here. One of my favorites treats which by the way was recommend by one of the staff are their packaged chocolate covered dates! Oh my they are fantastic! Each time I go in I try something new and I am never disappointed. Today Lily who by the way is so sweet poured be a beautifully blended cup of coffee, OH MY! It was so yummy!
So if you're looking for some healthy snacks or want to share some yummy treats with your friends and family this is the place! ENJOY!!!!
My favorite place in the entire IE, they have freshly roasted nuts and assorted Middle Eastern things. I love their sweets and the coffee they have. The service is always amazing and they’re soo sweet. I will always go back to get my favorite snacks. What I love about this store is they care about the quality of the food
TLDR; They sold us rancid food and and would not give us a refund or store credit.
My mother has been shopping at this store for a few months. I love to support small business and so we she offered to take me to the store I jumped at the opportunity. When I went with her I purchased some baklava among other things. I brought it home and me and my cousin both popped a piece in our mouths. The product was rancid and we both look at each other and immediately spit them out. I tried to return it and when we did the clerk called the store owner and she said that they cannot refund us because all sales are final. So we asked for store credit. The clerk suggested that they couldn't resale the food because it had been opened. To which retorted that you should not have sold it in the first place because you are going to make someone sick. I suggested that she call the store owner back and let him know that if he didn't make it right that he was going to loose more than $8, but that he was going to loose a customer. My recommendation is don't shop at this store because they sell products that may make you sick and they are not willing to stand behind their products.
Edit after the owner replied:
I am quite certain the clerk understood where we were coming from. We even had her contact the owner twice. Wanting to support a local business I wanted to make sure that the store had a chance to correct the problem. As a small business owner myself I understand that every cent counts but this behavior of valuing the cents over the health and safety of the customer along with a lack of willingness to correct an error on the part of the business just makes me feel that the community would be better served with them going out of business.
