Business owner information
Levon Der Bedrossian opened La Mediterranee Noe in 1981, a sister restaurant to his Fillmore location (opened 1979) and Berkeley (1982). Along with his business partner, Alicia Vanden Heuvel, who has been with La Med since 1997, La Med continues as an SF Legacy business. Back in 1981, Levon's goal was to bring his Lebanese Armenian family recipes to the Bay Area and to provide delicious food at reasonable prices, with friendly service, in a cozy atmosphere. To this day, the long term staff of La Med continues to uphold our motto, "The Smallest Things Make the Biggest Differences." Our award winning dishes have captured the hearts of long time SF regulars and visitors alike. Come visit and Anoush Ella! (May it Be Sweet!)
