I became a restructuring attorney after strong interest and success in bankruptcy law at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. I graduated magna cum laude in May 2015, receiving a Dean’s Award, membership in the Order of the Coif, and distinction as a Willard H. Pedrick Scholar. In October 2015, I began as an associate attorney at Allen Barnes & Jones, PLC, and in June 2018, I joined the Restructuring and Insolvency Group at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, LLP.

I regularly represent senior secured lenders in restructuring matters in the middle market space, but I have extensive experience representing secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, landlords, vendors, investors, and equity security holders in a wide array of commercial restructuring and insolvency issues, including loan workouts, distressed asset sales, chapter 11 bankruptcy administration and reorganization, liquidation, and distressed financing.

As a law student, I earned highest honors in bankruptcy classes covering consumer, corporate, municipal, and cross-border insolvencies and was named the recipient of the American College of Bankruptcy’s 2015 Distinguished Bankruptcy Law Student Award for the Ninth Circuit. In my second year, I externed for the Honorable Randolph J. Haines of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona and clerked at Allen Barnes & Jones, PLC.

Prior to law school I received a B.S. in Business Administration from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. After a successful corporate sales career, I enrolled in law school and studied corporate, bankruptcy, and tax law to leverage my extensive sales and business experience.
