Ilian was born in Damascus, Syria and lived abroad for a brief period before settling in Southern California with his family. Ilian attended the University of California, Irvine and earned a B.A. in Political Science. Ilian earned his Juris Doctor at Western State University in Fullerton, California. As a law student, Ilian clerked under the Honorable Frederick P. Aguirre, and was a law clerk for several local law firms. During this time, Ilian earned awards for academic performance by the Witkin Legal Institute in Trusts and Estates, Contract Drafting, Juvenile Law and Legal Ethics.
Prior to joining Patterson Law Firm, Ilian was a partner at a local firm and exclusively handled all litigation for the firm from fairly routine trials to trials involving novel legal issues and complex litigation. Ilian always puts his clients first and has developed a reputation for providing high-quality legal services that has attracted clients from all counties across Southern California.
