Falafel’s Drive-In

Falafel drive in is a staple of our family’s drives down the coast. The food there is delicious and the quality is always amazing . This time around we had the falafel sandwiches, onion rings, and pita chips. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere around the restaurant is amazing with people eating in their cars and a beautiful mural nearby.

We enjoyed our falafel balls with hummus. I also tried their vegan onion rings. Husband had chicken pita which was okay-ish for him. Pigeons roaming around was bit off for his hygiene-freak mind. I didn’t mind it at all as they were minding their own business. I also liked the graffiti on walls! There was not much of wait time for us today noon.

The pita, when it finally arrived, proved to be a satiating delight, fulfilling both hunger and nostalgia in equal measure. Despite the hustle, the ambiance inside was surprisingly pleasant, a testament to the establishment's enduring charm. Though the outdoor patio was abuzz with patrons, I found solace within the cozy confines of the interior—a convenient respite for weary travelers staying at the nearby hotel. In the midst of the chaos, Falafel's Drive In stood as a unique beacon of tradition and taste—a culinary adventure worth savoring.

This is not usually the type of food I eat, but this was so good!!! My daughter talked me in to trying it because Guy Fieri has been there and it did not disappoint. The red sauce and tahini sauces are wonderful!! The banana shake was an added bonus to it all!!

I’ve been going to this place for over 30 years!!! I Love their daily special, falafel and a banana shake. Their dolmas are the best I have ever tasted! Strongly recommend this place!!!!
