2 months agoI was here with my husband as the patient. Everybody was very nice from the woman at the information desk, to the one at registration, all the nurses and doctors. Great experience! Everything was explained well. The only (minor) thing I didn't like was that the family waiting area was freezing.

4 years agoMy mom had a heart attack a couple of days ago and had to be rushed to the ER. The treatment was very quick and they were able to get her into a Room and to be seen by a doctor quickly and to ease her anxiety as well. She is now in a Room being treated with medicine and fortunately does not need surgery. The staff has been very nice and accommodating. We wish her a speedy recovery.

3 months agoCome here if you want to wait in the hallway for over 18hours. My husband has been in the hallway waiting for an specialist for that long. They don’t tell him much, you would think they will know what time the doctors will arrive or find him a room. Definitely go to another ER or hospital.

4 months agoSeen by Dr. Dino Barhoum at Scripps Encinitas emergency on 11/30/23. He didn’t review current medication or mental health when presented to the ER with self inflicted head wound. Md is rushed, has no compassion, will lie to your face and send his nurses to tell you what he can’t for some reason. I was under the impression we were going to work together as patient and doctor to get me help. He needs his license removed. No one should have felt like I did when discharged. I was basically shoved out the door.

2 months agomy previous stays at Scripps Encinitas was five stars until my last experience! Staff misread my chart and assumed I was a withdrawal risk. And for some reason unknown to me drugged me to sedate me which did not go well I only remember receiving medication and fading out and then waking up at home 3 days later as my wife checked me out ama after finding me tied down and setting in urine. Upon visiting me. also my wedding band was removed for MRI and never returned. I also requested medical records after discharge and what I received had pages missing.
