Dr. Sadat Anwar Shamim, MD

Dr. Shamim graduated from the Dow Medical College in 1998. He works in Dallas, TX and 1 other location and specializes in Internal Medicine and Neurology.

Dr. Sadat Shamim is the chief of neurology at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, part of Baylor Scott & White Health. He was
the medical director of the inpatient neurology service from 2009 to early 2017 which was recognized by US News and World Report. He also directs the epilepsy program, the inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, and the neurophysiology department at Baylor Dallas which is accredited by ABRET. Dr. Shamim is an assistant clinical professor at Texas A&M University, a member of the National Association of Epilepsy Centers, and has been well published. His interests are in epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke, and memory disorders. He sees most general neurological conditions in his outpatient clinic.
