I am the product of a long-time Kaiser Permanente physician, my father, and have the wonderful opportunity to work with my sister, who is also a physician, at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. I am of Egyptian descent and have lived in Los Angeles since I was six years old. Medicine is in my blood apparently, and here at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles, I am able to practice the craft that I love so much. My hobbies include playing various musical instruments and my passion is triathlons. If anyone is up for a little running, biking or swimming, let me know, and I'll get you started.

Had the best experience with my 2nd birth, a night and day difference from my 1st birth at a different hospital. Staff was very friendly, helpful, empathetic and supportive. I had a C section scheduled but my water broke first, and with the help of the supportive and knowledgeable nurses and doctors, I was able to have a successful VBAC of an 8lb 1oz child. Nurses and doctors were very helpful and attentive. They have tips, had me change labor positions, explained the why behind everything and kept me posted about everything. They were encouraging and worked very well as a team. We are so pleased with our experience and will definitely be coming back for the next one! Only complaint/ Parking was $30 for 2 nights :/

My Father had open heart surgery at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles and received the Best Possible Service. All personal is Great but 3 nurses in the ICU department stand out above all as it was Highly Noticeable Their Passion for What they Do and Cared Exceptionally for my Father which my family and I are very Grateful for! The first nurse right after surgery did amazing caring for my father (can't recall her name right now as it was a very difficult time as I had never seeing my father so sick and/or with many many tubes/cables/machines and under so much pain) BUT I can attest that she did everything possible to make sure my father was well and was very supportive of us, his family members to be their for him. Maria D and Juan in the third ICU unit also did Amazing caring for my father and AM more than Grateful for all three and the rest of the nurses who cared so well for my father. I highly recommend this hospital and give it a Five Star Rating ***** FROM ALL OF MY FAMILY THANK YOU KAISER PERMANENTE AND ITS STAFF FOR ALL OF YOUR ASSISTANCE AND MAKINS SURE MY FATHER DID WELL AND WAS DISCHARGED AFTER 12 DAYS OF TOP OF THE LINE SERVICE!!!

I came in to the ER with abdominal pain, and it was determined I needed gallbladder surgery. From the moment I was admitted, I was handled with exceptional care. The nurses, especially Nurse Matt, made all the difference, never letting me feel alone during some dark moments over my five-day stay. Grateful to be home healing with my family and to Kaiser and Nurse Matt for providing me world-class care!

Everyone who dealth with me from start to finish was just so professional, sweet, considerate, and polite. I was super impressed by both the medical and patient care aspects of my stay. I am very pleased to have Kaiser as my health care provider, and have been since I was a child, over 50 years ago. Thank you all so much for saving my life, and I am as grateful as anyone can be.

During my stay I rarely saw the nurses. I can recall one day that I saw a nurse twice. I had a unsuccessful Lumbar puncture that left me in extreme pain in my back ,neck , shoulders and head, several days later and I am still in pain. The person who administered the procedure seemed unsure of where to draw the fluid from the proper area ,he stuck me twice to numb me and proceeded to try to find the area to draw fluid ,he kept grabbing my hip bone and drawing a line with his finger to my back and after several attempts to to draw fluid at one point he hit something and my right leg kicked straight out, that's when I asked him to stop the procedure as I was in so much pain. He then gathered his things and left the room without saying anything else. When I was being discharged I was being wheeled out in the wheel chair and started vomiting ,the nurse looked at me and asked if I wanted to go to emergency. I will definitely not return to this hospital ever again and would definitely not recommend anyone else either.
