>Dr. George Yousef received his medical degree from Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt. Following this, he completed his internship and residency at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He also completed his fellowship in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Marshall University. Dr. Yousef is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine, the National Board of Echocardiography. He is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and has been on staff at Ochsner since September 2019 and practicing medicine since 2007. He is expertise is in cardiology, interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular interventions, valvular heart disease, and cardiac arrhythmia. Dr. Yousef is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He was elected as Fellow in Training Section Chair for the West Virginia American College of Cardiology.

2 years agoI have had heart disease for a while. I met Dr Yousef while in ICU after one of my health issues. I'm not one to trust Drs in general but there's a warm compassionate, calming disposition about Dr Yousef that if someone told me about......I probably would have to see it to believe it.. Truth is..... I've experienced all that and more. He cares beyond the limits of care..... he's definitely an understanding Dr when it comes to having tests done that are not the most comfortable to do. He makes sure you get the best care possible. And believe me....... I was a mess now my blood work speaks volumes! If you have a chance to get Dr George Yousef for cardiologist take it!!!!!! You won't get any one more dedicated to making you feel as whole as a person as opposed to broken. He's the best one as far as cardiologist You won't regret choosing him
