5 months agoMy review is long overdue… and I finally feel ready to write about my experience. At the hospital Dr. Khoylyan was good. He seemed very nice and I genuinely liked him, which led me to make sure my baby was seen by him after we had been discharged from the hospital. When I called to make an appointment, front staff was okay I can’t complain. Once we got to our appointment we were told husbands were not aloud in because of Covid restrictions and only one parent was aloud in the back. Which again understandable with the circumstances we were all under. As soon as I was taken in I was juggled from room to room with a newborn (again I understood since I do have back office experience and know that sometimes it can get hectic). Once Dr. Khoylyan entered the room, he just began scold me over what I was doing wrong and how some of my concerns were just me overreacting. He just made me feel like such a terrible mother. He was angry with me because my son had lost almost (I emphasize) almost 1lb after birth. Which from my knowledge and having friends who are doctors and in the medical field they did tell me that 1lb of weight loss is normal after their initial weight from birth. He continued to tell me how I’m not feeding him enough and made me take out a bottle that I had in my bag to feed him. I told him he over eats sometimes and spits up so I have to be very careful and make sure I’m feeding him at a normal pace and not just forcing him to finish a bottle just so he can throw it up 5 min later. I took out the bottle and fed my son, since, according to him I was starving my baby and not feeding him enough. Once I finished feeding him he told me to get him dressed and to come back for regular visits (vaccines and routine check ups. Before our visit with Dr. Khoylyan was over my son threw up all of his milk in front of Dr. Khoylyan. I was an absolute mess emotionally because here I am, a new mother being berated by my babies pediatrician. I will NEVER forgive Dr. Khoylyan for the way he treated me and how incredibly unprofessional he was. I left in tears and could not speak because I was speechless by his mannerism. I never returned to his office and I really hope the way he practices is different now for the sake of the families he treats day to day.

a year agoTerrible management and staff. Dr, Gagik is a good doctor but he is poor in management. He has more than enough registered patients and not able to take care of them. Anytime call, they are busy and no time and they recommend to take your child to ER. More than capacity patients make problem for anyone. I don't understand it is medical office or business office. They hold me on the phone for 20 minutes and then disconnected. Office staffs are totally unprofessional people. Not recommend to waste your time in this office.

a year agoWorst experience with any doctor. He has been our kids doctor for the past 10 years but I would say since about 6 years ago we had a very bad experience making appointments and receiving any service. l believe their pocket is filled and they hired a bunch rude assistants who don’t care about patients anymore. We called numerous times for emergency and none emergency reasons and every single time they either rejected us for appointment or they put us on hold for a long time until we hung up. Extremely disappointed with this office

5 years agoI was assigned to this doctor not by my choice. I called 3 times to have appointment for my child and I was refused all 3 times. Office stuff very unprofessional. They will make your sick child to wait 3 -4 month before they can give you an appointment. Called already to Medical board of CA and left complain about this issue. Trick is that they are taking new patients but they don't have a time to see your child. 3-4 month to wait. My child was refused in immunization as well, they give me an appointment for 4 month later. Before choosing him as your doctor, call to office and try to make an appointment ;), so you will see what I am talking about.
