Dr. Eman Lutfi received her Medical degree from Kuwait University, Kuwait 1990. Her medical training took her to UK, Scotland and Egypt. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Florida, Gainesville. Dr. Lutfi is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Lutfi is happily married . Her husband is a pediatrician as well, and they have two children a daughter and a son. They moved to Portland 1999 to be close to family. “Portland is a beautiful city and unique in many ways, especially its cosmopolitan, multi cultural quality. We feel at home here.” Dr. Lutfi enjoys working with and helping children and their families during sickness and health – “I love watching my patients grow and take pride in having a role in enhancing their emotional and physical development.” Dr. Lutfi enjoys all age group and she performs circumcisions. Outside work, she enjoys gardening, yoga, gourmet cooking, kayaking and tile painting.

2 years agoAbsolutely LOVE Dr. Lutfi. She goes above and beyond for all of her patients, not just my babies! She leaves no stone unturned! She has called me personally with results for my children and even when I called the office for medical advice for concerns I had for my daughter, she called me herself! She is amazing, she takes her time with us! Never rushes us! Absolutely loving and caring too! Please consider her!

a year agoWe left this clinic after a few appts with Dr Lutfi. We LOVED Dr Randolph and was sad to see her go. We saw Dr. Apodaca once, my son was tested for Covid and they lost the test and he had to return. At our first appt with Dr Lutfi, she gave both kids lectures on the importance of milk, so much so that my teen asked her if she was paid by the dairy industry. She also said to my then 8-year old 'I guess you discovered food' after she had gained 7 pounds from the previous year's checkup. I guess she didn't notice that she had also grown 4 inches? Who says that to a preteen girl??!! Her weight was still in 25th percentile, so still quite low. Not comfortable with her at all. We left the practice after this appointment. She was way more worried about their nutrition (agree very important) but we actually had to say hey my son has some concerns he'd like to talk to you about as she was walking out the door. Her nutrition lecture had taken the entire appt. I guess if you have kids with nutritional needs/concerns she'd be helpful? Also, I tried for weeks to get an appt or callback for a referral. I called, left messages, even emailed. No response. Should've listened to that red flag...

3 years agoDr. Lutfi has been my step kids' pediatrician for many years. She is amazing warm and passionate. She always listens to my concerns and always goes above and beyond the call of duty! I was so happy that I found her at her new practice location "Tanasbourne Pediatrics" when I googled her name. I think the bond that exists between her and my step kids is all that matters. I would follow her ANYWHERE.

6 years agoDr Lutfi is the best pediatrician you will ever find. she has cared for all my three children, very knowledgeable and treats patients very well .She always listens to our concerns and answers all of our questions. She is awesome! I highly recommend her!

4 years agoAll five of my children have had Dr. Lutfi as their primary care physician. I have relatively healthy children, so they have mostly only seen her for well-child visits. We have changed insurances too many times to count, but have consistently been able to see Dr. Lutfi, yay! It's great for my children to have had the same physician for so many years (my oldest is now 18.).I trust her with my children's care and am happy to keep seeing her.
