It's very fast, the doctor counties. She sees and she hears me. She listens to what I said. She checks my baby very thoroughly. Both of my kids and they walk out with the medicine they need. I have no complaints.

My experience with Dr. Sedrak is a mixed review. The staff and Dr. are very nice people and seems to care about their patients. But, as another review stated she does claim everything is a ear or throat infection. One time I had to point out spots on my child’s foot before she realized he has hand, foot, and mouth disease. We almost left but I remembered I wanted to check the little red marks out on his feet. Another incident is when she prescribed a high dosage of antibiotics medicine to my 2 year old because she wanted to treat both the ear and throat infection but the pharmacy wouldn’t fill the order without it being adjusted. Pay attention because healthcare professionals can make mistakes too.

Worst worst worst !! I’ve taken my almost two year old daughter here and by far the worst pediatric! The staff there is very unprofessional and as far as dr.sedrak she always claims any illness as an “ear infection”! As a new mom I had to have a second opinion and took my daughter to another doctor turns out she was perfectly fine !!! No ear infection what so ever! I wasn’t about to give my daughter unneeded antibiotics!!!! Don’t take your children here!!!!

NO STARS Too many bad incidents with this HORRIBLE "doctor", not enough space here. FINALLY at a great doctor now. If you know what's good for you and your child, do NOT go to Sedrak. She ALWAYS claims every illness is a throat and ear infection. My son has never had a sore throat or ear ache, but she insisted he did several times after we came in for wheezing and cough. I ended up taking him to the ER after arguing with her for the last time and of course he had pneumonia. They heard the sounds his lungs were making and took the appropriate steps of xray, etc... I can't believe she is still in practice, I really think something is wrong with her...

We brought my newborn son, 5 days old for his first pediatric check up. We never saw Dr. Sedrak. Before we could even fill out his paperwork, Dr. Sedrak called my husband to the checkout desk to let him know about some test results from our stay in the hospital from when he was born. I was called back as well to be informed that my son had a rare disease based on the positive test results that were faxed to them and "I have no experience with this disease so I cannot see him" she directed us to call some endocrinologist. She didn't take us in a room and explain what was going on, she turned us away. We were terrified to say the least. They gave us a copy for the paperwork and we left. I called the endocrinologist and was told by Ken at Dr. Brakins office that my son wouldn't be seen until his insurance was active. He questioned me about why Dr. Sedrak hadn't started his insurance. All babies are covered under the mom for the first 30 days. He never even brought that up. It was insulting. I'm worried about this rare disease my son could possibly have and this idiot is going on about insurance. Needless to say, I told him as much and hung up in his face. I had to call CHS, the number on the paper and they couldn't believe we were turned away and denied to be seen over insurance. We ended up going to Miller's Children Center in Long Beach because the the first doctor said we could either go to the Children's Hospital or Long Beach Memorial as well. My son was eventually admitted for retesting.
