Dr. Saad is a board certified Endocrinologist. He recieved his M.D. from Damascus University of Medicine in 1987.
He completed his internal medicine residency program at State University of New York- Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn and Boston University- Carney Hospital in 1995.
He then completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at University of Southern California, USC, in 1995.
He has been Practicing and teaching Endocrinology and diabetes for the past 25 years, he is currently in private practice in Glendora, Upland, and San Bernardino, and he is currently assistant professor at UC Riverside.
Dr. Saad has contributed to over 50 presentations on thyroid disorders, thyroid cancer, and diabetes.

9 months agoI only saw Dr. Saad once, He did not write down my insulin pump dosage/settings in this meeting. Months later when my pump failed and I wanted to confirm my settings, the only notes provided to me were "pump therapy." If I were to go into a medical emergency, he would be the one to provide my "pump therapy" dosage. He still does not have this information. When my insurance changed at the beginning of this month, I needed his office to send a preauthorization to my new insurance. My pharmacy and I have been calling them for two weeks to get this taken care of. I have been told everyday this week that he "may" get to it at the end of the day. I am a Type 1 Diabetic and will not survive a day without meds. His staff does not understand the severe consequences of a day without medication. I am currently looking for a different endocrinologist. Do not go to this office if you are a Type 1 Diabetic or if you expect the office staff to respond to your call.

a month agoThis Dr is amazing! His staff not so much..they never answer the phone..or call you back..absolutely incompetent office staff.

2 years agoPlease, whatever you do, do not go to this place! I can't believe how unresponsive they are!! I've been trying to make an appointment for over 2 weeks and nobody picks up the phone or responds to online messages. Insurance sent us to them and they say that they don't accept such insurance. Imagine if this was an emergency. You'd be dead!!!! Go somewhere where people will actually care about you. Don't go to this God forsaken place!!!!

6 years agoKind and smart doctor, great staff! The wait time IS LONG. Be aware you will be waiting for 20+ minutes regardless of appointment time. (It's because Kastoon and Bashar are Actually Good Doctors, though, and they're experienced in a bunch of endocrinologist things that other endocrinologists I've seen had no idea about. I'm not gonna blame a doctor for being popular!) Works well with insurance and tries very hard to work with patients financial needs!

3 years agoThe best doctor so caring he listens and he is very smart I told him about my upset stomach, I’ve been having digestive issues for so many years and he’s the only doctor that knew what is causing my stomach pain. He changed my diabetes medication I was on metformin for 8 years. Now I’m taking Januvia. Wow all my upset stomach is gone thank you dr. Saad God bless you.
