Specialties

Come by if you want to see how Middle Eastern Food is supposed to taste! We specialize in making traditional Lebanese items like shawarma, shish-tawook, chicken shawarma, lamb kabob, falafel, mixed grill plates, tabbouleh, fattoush, hummus, and baba ganouj. Our food is packed with the flavor of fresh herbs and savory spices and we make everything from scratch, grilled to order. Wash it all down with our house rose lemonade!

History

Established in 2014.

We had our first grand opening on July 5, 2014 on Jesse St off Barton Springs in downtown Austin. When developers turned that space into a hotel, we moved to The Midway in Westlake where we enjoyed fenced in fields and playscapes for kids and families to enjoy! When The Midway closed, we were forced to make a quick move to south Congress, where we spent a few months before finally moving to The Domain in front of iPic Theaters on the Lawn. We do NOT like moving, but that can often be the nature of the food trailer business. We are thrilled to be in North Austin!

Business owner information

Abdallah and Emily R.

Business Owner

After several years managing and learning the ins and outs of running a famous pizza chain, Abdallah decided to open his own restaurant. It was at this sandwich shop on W. Anderson Ln that he met and later married Emily. Customers would often find out that Abdallah was from Lebanon and their eyes would light up as they recounted stories of eating Lebanese food around the world. He would then tell them to come back on a certain day and would make them some of his favorite traditional foods. It didn't take long for this "secret menu" to become the best sellers. After almost 10 years of loyally serving customers in that area and building an amazing community of friends, the shopping center began a construction project that made it impossible to continue. Emily, excited about the newly popularized food truck industry, knew that a food truck would give them an opportunity to serve the food they were most passionate about with location flexibility.
