Established in 2014.

Founder and Owner, Alabudi grew up in his family's restaurant and hotel He came to America with a vision of his family's restaurant here in Austin, Texas. Several years later, alabud. they would drive to their favorite Mediterranean Grill in Houston, twice a month! Soon they realized Austin was ready for Alabudi vision of his family's Authentic Mediterranean. One year later, Austin's Habibi was born.

Founder and Owner, Alabud grew up in his family's restaurant and hotel. He came to the U.S. with a vision of one day recreating his family's restaurant here in Austin, Texas.

Several years later, he and his family would drive to their favorite Mediterranean grill in Houston, twice a month! Soon they realized Austin was ready for some mediterranean food. With the vision of his family's Authentic Mediterranean, he opened his first location – a food truck on 5th St.  Austin's Habibi has grown to be a local favorite and opened a second brick and mortar location in Austin last year.
