Hello my name is Ali Aljoom and I'm a immigrant from Iraq. I came to America in 1993 for a safer and brighter future. I lived in Dearborn Mi for most of life. I have always loved food and I always wanted to eat American style BBQ like smoked beef brisket and beef ribs, however I can never find Halal/kosher bbq, so in 2015 I established ALJOOM'S BBQ and created my own recipe.
I strive to make the best bbq known to man and women. The best part of making Halal BBQ is the smiles and appreciation I recieve from my happy customers!  it gives me great motivation to become the best I can be and be crowned the BBQ KING.
