I wasn’t too sure what to expect when I walked in. It was very quiet and didn’t get much of a greeting from the staff up front. But we tried the chicken plate, eggplant salad, hummus and lentil soup. Wow! The food tasted so authentic and absolutely delicious! The onion sauce went well with the grilled chicken and rice. The eggplant salad had beets, and a taste of other side dishes with it and cooked very well. The hummus was one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely a hidden gem in alameda!

Cute little place a bit off the beaten path. Ordered the Morrocan Rice with Kefta and caramelized onions and a side of hummus. The Kefta was delicious with the caramelized onions seasoned with cinnamon and nutmeg (?). Really good. The tangy side salad was a nice counter-point to the Kefta. The hummus was top drawer and sprinkled generously with paprika. The only disappointment was the pita which was a bit dry and appeared (and tasted) "store bought." Taking off a star for that. If you're serving this type of food, you can't fumble something as basic and central as the pita bread. Aside from that little fail, very good.

The House Special (lamb) was very fulfilling and tasty! The Moroccan House salad was so delicious! Update: visited today, 12/2/23. Had the Morrocon rice with chicken and caramelized onions. It comes with a small salad. I had the mint lemonade, and all of it was really good! All their ingredients are fresh and flavorful.

I went today to this restaurant to eat Morocco foods which we missed it for long time.. Everything was good and never regret eating here. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The Moroccan food was flavorful and reminded us of great food…We will definitely be returning to this restaurant to satisfy our cravings for delicious Moroccan cuisine.

I love to come to this restaurant. My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant since 2019. The meals here are phenomenal. Everything is so tasty. The mint lemonade is so thirst quenching. The caramelized onions are so good. Just about anything that you order here will fulfill your tastebuds.
