It is one of two ERs that make up the UM Upper Chesapeake Health Emergency Department.

Is the designated treatment center for sexual assault in Harford County.
Is designated as acute-stroke ready by the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems (MIEMSS) and are able to evaluate, stabilize and treat individuals with stroke symptoms.
Is able to treat all ages.
