Ahmed Zakari, MD, is a leading hematologist and medical oncologist with AdventHealth Medical Group’s renowned cancer team in Orlando.
He is also the Chairman of AdventHealth Orlando’s Division of Hematology and directs the hospital’s gastrointestinal oncology program.
His special interests include colon and rectal cancers, other gastrointestinal cancers, and leukemia, lymphoma and other blood disorders.
Fellowship-trained at Georgetown University’s Lombardi Cancer Center, he is an assistant professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Zakari is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
