Azzam Muftah, MD, has been a practicing as a gastroenterology specialist since 1996.

He completed his residency in internal medicine and his internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
He received his medical degree from the Damascus University Medical School, Damascus, Syria.
